Typography -- Initial Concepts

Due to illness, I was not able to attend the first workshop held by Nick, which involved the creation of a set of 3D objects that put into context, created a set of words. I was quick to catch up on the lesson in my own time, so I came up with a few concepts.

My initial thoughts where the word "Break" created with coffee grounds and "Spice" made out of cinnamon sticks and vanilla pods.
I finally decided on the words "Stitched up", created out of yarn, wool and cotton. My intention is to stitch some of the letters on a background created out of light coloured scap material stitched
together. Hopefully it will all come together very soon.
